Me in a nutshell -
Happily married,
a mum to three great kids
and two fur babies,
and a soppy romantic
with a camera.
My background is -
After completing a BA Hons in photography,
I was then employed by a leading contemporary portrait studio for nearly a decade
before leaving to set up my own business
within the photography world.
Over the years I have been fortunate
to photograph 100's of beautiful weddings
and I know this is a cliché, but I truly do love my job.
It never ceases to amaze me
firstly how much of an honour it is to share in your significant day,
but also an absolute thrill
when I capture images full of emotion.
With my weddings I love to keep
my style natural
and to photograph your day as it unfolds,
recording all of those wonderful happy feelings and events
(even the bits you didn't know
were happening)
There are times when I do gently coordinate to ensure you do not miss out on those special moments,
(your dad seeing you for the first time
in your dress,
or my personal favourite -
the confetti shot)
I also like to take the two of you aside
(for a short amount of time
so as to not miss your own wedding)
to focus on those truly inspiring romantic pictures.
Ultimately my aim is to tell your
beautiful love story,
and to provide natural and timeless images that are individual to you and your
wedding day.
With my portraits
I love to use natural light and to work on location
at your favourite place.
Whether its your
grown up family of teenagers
on a country walk,
fun-and-up-for-it hectic kids
in the local park,
or the tender moments of your
new-born at home
I love to creatively balance this
personal and
genuine time of your life to
convey honest feelings and
heart felt emotions.
